WHAT IS IT’S THE SHIP?
IT’S THE SHIP is Asia’s Largest Festival at Sea. Imagine a music festival that takes place onboard a cruise ship across 4-Days 3-Nights but with all the comfort and amenities of a holiday resort. Since it’s inception in 2014, our ultimate cruise festival adventure will be making its maiden voyage from Korea sailing from Busan, South Korea to the historical city of Nagasaki, Japan and back this 23 – 26 May 2024!
IT’S THE SHIP Korea 2024 will take place on board the elegant – Costa Serena. Shipmates will delight in a new “integrated resort” experience whether you’re getting pampered at the spa or enjoying the breeze in one of the outdoor whirlpools. And it doesn’t end there! Theatre, lounge bars, swimming pools, game rooms, casino… And a wide variety of restaurants serving Italian and international cuisine to tickle your taste buds.

Besides multiple stages of dance music and themed after-parties, we’ve got plenty of other interactive activities, including meet & greets, sports activities with your favourite DJs, special shows and much, much more! ARE THE DJS ONBOARD WITH US DURING THE ENTIRE CRUISE?
Hell Yeah!! Our DJs will be spending most of the 4 days sailing and partying with us.
Unlike any land festival, you’ll get every opportunity to meet your favourite DJ’s as you’ll probably be eating with them, getting a tan, or even partying with them.
HOW DO I BUY A TICKET?
All you have to do to join us onboard is to book your cabin. By booking your cabin you’ll be able to enjoy all the festivities on board, similar to how you would book a hotel room. Your cabin booking includes
- 4D3N Accommodation
- Access to all the music stages and DJ performances
- Themed Parties & Special Shows
- Side Activities
- Round the clock all your can eat buffet
- Access to most of the facilities on the ship
Remember, last day to book your cabin is on 2 May 2024.
WHAT TRAVEL DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO PREPARE?
All shipmates will require a valid passport. To ensure that your passport is valid for at least six (6) months beyond the completion of the travel date (expiry date not earlier than 23 November 2024)
All international shipmates must also present any relevant documentation/ VISA for Korea (Multiple entry Visa) on embarkation. It is advised that you check with your local authorities on any travel documents/visas required. All travel documents/ VISA must match your name on the cruise documents and passport.

WHAT ARE GRATUITIES? HOW AND WHEN DO I PAY FOR IT?
Gratuities are mandatory fees. Gratuities are fees paid to the cruise staff for the cruises’ offerings and their services onboard.
Gratuities will be charged to your cabin’s account folios at the time of boarding. Settlement is at the end of the cruise when shipmates settle their onboard expenses. Gratuities charges;
- USDD47 per shipmate for Standard cabins (Interior, Oceanview, Balcony)
- USD58 per shipmate for Suites
HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENTS ONBOARD IT’S THE SHIP?
Payments will be made with your Costa card. These payments need to be settled during check out by credit/debit card or cash in USD currency.
Bill settlement can be by:
- Pay by cash (USD)
- Pay by credit card
- Pre-link your credit card to your Costa card
It is strongly adviced that you link your credit card through the available kiosks located at the lobby reception on Deck 3 as soon as you get on board for easy checkout and to avoid the long queue on the last day.
IS THERE INTERNET ACCESS ON THE SHIP?
For the Insta-savvy ones, and those who can’t leave the ‘’world’’, not to worry! WIFI is available onboard at a charge. From past experiences, we believe the best thing to do is get off the grid, you won’t know how liberating that is until you experience it.

CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOLIC DRINKS ONBOARD?
No. All alcoholic drinks will be confiscated by security at Busan and Nagasaki entry gateway during security clearance at embarkation. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased onboard IT’S THE SHIP Korea for onboard consumption only.

On Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Busan Port International Passenger Terminal
Check-in commences from 16:30 hrs (KST).
Boarding starts from 18:00 hrs (KST)
Gate Closes at 20:00 hrs (KST)
You must be on the ship NO LATER than 20:00 hrs or you risk missing the party! SO, BE ON TIME and be sure to have all your required documents printed and ready to be verified. Address for Busan Port International Passenger Terminal (206, Chungjang-daero, Dong-gu, Busan, South Korea).
